We don’t just landscape, We Create Greenscapes, Reimagine Your Possibilities…

3 things to consider for a Low Maintenance Yard

1.       Choose the right plants – search for plants that require little pruning, clipping or deadheading; are the right size for the space where they will be planted; and are easy to clean up in the fall. Ornamental grasses are an example of an easy care plant.

2.       Include hardscape features – instead of filling every space with grass and plants consider incorporating more hard-surfaced areas. For example – paved patios and paths, stepping stones and decking can add beauty and function to your yard.

3.       Rethink your lawn – consider using some ground cover instead of expanding your lawn. Some possible choices could be flowering perennials or drought-tolerant succulents.

These are just a few suggestions for a low maintenance yard which translates into more free time for you!
